ABOUT Darlington Tax Service LLC

Growing up, my father did Income Tax returns. He would go to their homes, or the client would come to our house. In time, my father retired from his full-time work and devoted his career to Silverado Tax Service. I always enjoyed visiting my dad at his office next door to Buttercream Bakery. My visit with my father was more likely at the bakery coffee shop than in his office.

Learning The Business

As my father’s tax practice changed to a computerized system with data entry being a big part of a tax return, I became the data entry person. I would enter the returns, review the returns, and in the process, I learned the tax business.
I decided at that time to start doing taxes for my friends and family.

Transition

Then in January of 1990, my father passed away. Having the experience, knowledge, and access to the files, I stepped in to do the returns. I felt honored to have so many existing clients allow me to do their tax returns. Some of the clients my dad were with him f
